Me and Mine (October)

Me and Mine (1)We have finally managed to get a little more family time together towards the end of this month after a very busy couple of months with hubby working some very long hours. This month’s photos were taken at our baby girl’s first birthday party which was a lovely afternoon celebrating with family and friends. It is hard to believe that a year has passed since Sophie was born!

Me and Mine (2)I love the totem pole photo of the four of us together. We did a similar photo about fifteen months ago when we were on holiday with Jessica and it is interesting to compare the two photos – Jessica has changed so much in that time.

Me and Mine (3)

It has been wonderful to finally get some time together as a family over the last week or so – we had our first day out together last weekend when we went to see the poppies at the Tower of London and hubby and I got to have our first night out on our own since Sophie’s arrival which was lovely. Hopefully we will get to spend a little more time together as a family next month.

  1. The photos are really lovely. Now you’ve started the trend, you’ll have to keep it going every year! Happy 1st birthday to Sophie. xx

    1. Thanks Mel – it was my husband’s idea to do the photos like this – I quite like it too! 🙂

  3. I love how you have taken this photo, we may have to do this to keep Ethan still lol. It’s great to compare both photos. Hope you get some more family time this month #MeandMine

    1. Thank you – it is quite a good way of keeping them in place for the photo although still doesn’t guarantee they’ll look at the camera. Was lovely to look back and compare photos 🙂

  4. Awww sweet photos! I do hope you can have more time together. I know how it is when you dont have enough family time as my husband works 2 jobs. We make the most of our time together when we do too =) #pocolo

    1. Thank you – next month looks to be quieter on the work front for hubby so hopefully we’ll get some more family time 🙂

    1. Thank you – yes, I think it’s a good method to ‘adopt’ – stops the kids from disappearing even if it can’t guarantee that they’ll look towards the camera! 🙂

  5. Oh I love the totem pole pose; you have to keep doing that at least once a year while the girls are still light enough to lift just to be able to compare all the changes!
