Me and Mine – April

Being away on holiday for part of April plus having had a couple of days out together mean I’m spoiled for choice for family photos this month.   This is a month I need to remember the next time hubby has a really busy period at work; to remind myself that there are quieter times when we can enjoy plenty of time together as a family.

I love our crazy family holidays which usually involve a ridiculous amount of travelling in the car, going here, there and everywhere. Our latest holiday saw us hunting gold postboxes once again. I’ve been in very few photos from our postbox challenge but the final Paralympic postbox of our challenge definitely called for a photo of all of us! No doubt our next holiday will see us heading to the Isle of Man so we can find the final Olympic one and completely finish the challenge!

Me and Mine (April) - Little Hearts, Big Love

We took the opportunity for a family photo at Northala Fields in west London while my sister and nieces were visiting us. It was very windy at the top of the hill as you can see in the photos and we’re all squinting but I love the fact that they capture us having fun and just enjoying being together as a family.

Our final photos this month are from our day out at Legoland last week. I take the girls to Legoland quite regularly as we have annual passes but this was the first time hubby had been able to come with us in almost a year.

It seems appropriate that our family photos at Legoland mark our first complete year of joining in with Me and Mine, having shared our first family photo from there last May. Looking back, I can see how we have changed – Sophie has gone from a baby to a toddler and Jessica from a toddler to a little girl. Hubby and I look mostly the same although perhaps both of us a little slimmer now we have both girls to run about after.

Our little family – a year on from our first Me and Mine photo. Twelve months of family photos to look back on, twelve months of beautiful moments captured.
