#366daysofgratitude – Week 15

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project.  Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

Sharing a photo of one thing each day that I'm grateful for - Week 15 of my #366daysofgratitude project

Day 101 – I am grateful for the amazing surgical team at Southampton, without whom this beautiful girl of mine would not be here today. This time four years ago, her heart was, quite literally, in their hands. Happy heart day beautiful Jessica xxx

Day 102 – I am grateful for some one-to-one time with my big girl while this little one has an afternoon nap – it doesn’t happen very often these days but it’s nice when it does.

Day 103 – I am grateful for lunchtime picnics in the garden.

Day 104 – I am grateful for interesting places to explore. We’ve spent an afternoon wandering around Ankerwyke where we found the remains of an old priory and a 2000-year old yew said to be the spot where Henry VIII proposed to Anne Boleyn.

Day 105 – I am grateful for peel and stick books with reusable stickers – great for keeping the girls amused when out and about.

Day 106 – I am grateful for a night out with these lovely ladies.

Day 107 – I am grateful for all the support that Little Hearts Matter gives to heart families like ours and for the opportunity to meet other heart families at their open day.

  1. Hi Louise, I love the way you are grateful for the simple things as much as the big things. A night out, a picnic lunch and reusable sticker books are simple things that help keep you sane, whilst the big stuff must drive you a little insane (if you let it).

It’s nice that you get the support you need and deserve.

    xx
