Review: Peek-A-Boo I Love You

I love you Mummy…, I love you Daddy… Peek-a-Boo I Love You is a charming board book for little ones, all about family love and the little fun moments. Each double page has colourful pictures of a family of animals having fun together, with words expressing love for Mummy, Daddy or another relation and a peek-a-boo hole to see the next set of animal families.

Sophie loved sitting down with Mummy and reading the story together but also enjoyed sitting down and looking through the book herself. The sturdy pages are easy for her to turn and the heart cut out at the top of each page also helped with turning the pages. She also enjoyed carrying the book around using the carry handle at the top.

There is plenty for little ones to look at on each page – as well as the family of animals on each page and the animal peeking through the hole on each page, there are also bees, butterflies and other objects to look at. I liked the fact that the book ends with “I love my family” and the animals going off to bed – this also makes it perfect for bedtime reading too!

  1. This is so cute, my daughter would love it. I actually looked for themed baby books for Valentines day and struggled to find any – this would have been perfect, I’ll have to remember for next year! x
