From the mouths of babes #141 – An interview with Jessica (aged 6)

From the mouths of babes is a weekly linky which invites you to share a post, old or new, about something your children have said. Those adorable mispronounced words, the glimpses into their imaginations, the blunt observations – whatever it is, I’d love to hear about it!

Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. Escape with the Family’s son made me chuckle over his complaint about how much exercise was required when whisking up a cake.

If you have any posts about something that your children have been saying lately, please do come and link up. The linky opens each Monday from 6am and closes on Friday at 11pm so there is plenty of time to link up your posts (old and new posts are welcome!). Please add the badge below to your post so others know where they can also link up (the badge code is below). I will also try and share posts via Twitter – please use the hashtag #ftmob and I’ll do my best to retweet them. I also have a Pinterest board and will be sharing posts here too.

Looking forward to reading what your little ones have been saying!

  1. Awwww bless her! I love the fact she wants to be a tooth fairy. When she was 6, Beanie wanted to be a chicken when she grew up (don’t ask!). Love the fact she still loves Peppa and casually wants to go to Chessington today hahaha!

    1. Thanks Mel. I love that Beanie wanted to be a chicken, how funny! We did go to Chessington this week and she knew we were planning to so I think that’s why she wanted to go to Chessington 🙂

  2. So much to love in this post. Love her career plans! She will always be popular with that one. Good on her for liking sausages too and well done you on convincing her of the joys and importance of water. Gives a really insight into a very good family life

    1. Thank you Kate. It is lovely to hear her responses. She’s always been very good with drinking water 🙂

  3. Oh I love the fact she wants to be the tooth fairy!
& all Daddies need help with choosing clothes from their wardrobe.
You need to keep her interested in doing the washing, etc lol!
Bless her – both Jessica & Sophie are adorable x

    1. Thank you Donna. Keeping her interested in doing the washing sounds like a good plan! 🙂
