#365daysofgratitude – Week 41

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 281 – I am grateful for some Mummy-Jessica time this afternoon enjoying a lovely long walk (for me at least while Jessica enjoyed her buggy ride) in the sunshine at Black Park.

Day 282 – I am grateful for my car. These little monkeys of mine have discovered the grab handles and are convinced they’re designed for swinging on. Made it a bit more challenging when trying to strap them into their car seats!

Day 283 – I am grateful for dress-up days. Sophie loved her Pirate Day at preschool today.

Me and Jessica at Black Park; Sophie swinging on the grab handles inside the car; Sophie dressed as a pirate; Sophie dressed as Princess Anna; two beautiful handmade quilts on my girls' beds; Jessica with her gappy smile and a big family photo

Day 284 – I am grateful for Pinterest showing me how to do specific hairstyles. Sophie wanted to dress up as Princess Anna for day two of pirates and princesses dress-up day. The “coronation bun” is a little messy but not bad for a first attempt!

Day 285 – I am grateful for these two beautiful quilts that my friend’s lovely mum made for my girls. Such a lovely kind gift and one that we will treasure.

Day 286 – I am grateful that Jessica’s second wobbly tooth came out at the end of Girls’ Brigade tonight. She was very excited about showing all her friends her tooth! Another visit from the tooth fairy tonight for us.

Day 287 – I am grateful for a lovely evening with my family celebrating my eldest sister’s birthday.
