Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. I loved Le Coin de Mel’s post sharing some of the conversations she overheard on a school trip to London – especially the comment about The Shard being too small and suggestions for how to make it grow.
We’ve also had a trip into London (or “Lahn-don” as the girls like to call it – in mock Cockney voices) this weekend for a screening of the film Surf’s Up 2 which is out on DVD today. I love how we got to the end of the film and Sophie instantly said “Mummy! Pause it backwards!” I couldn’t rewind it back then but we did get a DVD to take home and enjoy.
Sophie did make my heart melt on the train heading home when she snuggled up close to me, gave me the biggest smile and said “Mummy, I’m so happy!”
“Why are you so happy?” I asked her.
“Because I love you, Mummy.”
Could a moment be any more perfect than that?
