This month feels like it has been all about returning to normality again. It has been wonderful to see how well Jessica has recovered from her surgery. Her sats so far have been fairly similar to her pre-op levels but I think her colour is better and she seems to have more energy now. She certainly seems to be growing all of a sudden!
We’ve been making the most of having family moments when we can get them especially as hubby has been away a lot again this month. He was away for most of half-term but we did manage to enjoy a brief stay at the Legoland hotel before he went away. The girls also enjoyed having Nanny come and stay over half-term which helped make up for Daddy being away.
It’s been good to be able to get out and about a little more. We’re waiting for some warmer weather before we attempt a full day out though! Now that Jessica is back at school, it feels like we’ve settled back into normal family life once again. Normality is such a lovely feeling after the rollercoaster ride of the last few months. It’s so nice to be able to enjoy the everyday moments once again.
It’s easy to forget to record the ordinary everyday moments though. Without the Me and Mine project, I probably wouldn’t have taken a family photo this month. One of the things I love about joining in though is the way it ensures that we do take at least one family photo each month. This month’s photos are just quick snaps in the garden. A brief capture of our family this month – just capturing an ordinary, everyday moment.
Lovely photos and it is so lovely to to just capture the ordinary isn’t it?
Thanks Laura – it is nice to capture those everyday moments 🙂
Ah so lovely to see you all together and Jessica looking so well. I’m pleased to hear she is making great progress x
Thanks Laura, it’s lovely to see Jessica doing so well x
Love the coordinating outfits and all together in the sunshine. Roll on Spring here for us it’s been a crazy month of warm than snow than ice storms than snow again can’t make up it’s mind. I am so happy to hear Jess is making progress too. Sorry for late commenting catching up today. 🙂 #meandmineproejct
Thank you – I’m definitely looking forward to Spring now!
I’m very grateful for joining in with this project and like you say it’s the perfect excuse to get a family photo, which I admit I struggle with. I’m with you about the warmer weather, I need some sunshine in my life.
It is lovely to get regular family photos 🙂
