Hubby’s been working away from home a lot this month and even when he has been here, he’s been working long hours and we’ve been like passing ships. We had a little bit of family time together at the beginning of the month with Jessica’s birthday but since then the girls haven’t seen very much of Daddy. It even got to the point where I resorted to popping in to the office for a few minutes just so the girls could have a chance to say hello to Daddy!
I realised too that with hubby being away from the middle of September until early October, that this quick trip into the office would also be the only opportunity I had to get a shot of the four of us. It’s a good job that I had my camera with me!
This is the four of us in September – making the most of the little moments of time we can be together. This is our life during the busy times – snatching pockets of time, cherishing a few minutes here and there. This is when we are thankful for video calls, for phone messages, for those little chances to connect with each other.
We may not always be able to be together, but we’re always at our happiest when we are.

It must be hard when you feel like you are passing ships, but its lovely you cherish the time you have so much. We try and pop into Mr T’s work every so often, the children love seeing where he is during the day 🙂 Beautiful photos xx
