#366daysofgratitude – Week 6

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project. Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

#366daysofgratitude - Week 6 - Little Hearts, Big Love

Day 38 – I am grateful for a brief trip to the park with the dolls’ prams – we didn’t stay long because it was so windy and cold but it was good just to get outside for a while and the girls loved taking their dollies for a walk.

Day 39 – I am grateful for crafts on a windy, rainy afternoon. We’ve been busy making monster faces today.

Day 40 – I am grateful for pancakes! Every year we have pancakes on Shrove Tuesday and every year I wonder why we never seem to eat them at any other time of the year.

Day 41 – I am grateful to Jessica’s preschool for supporting Heart Week by doing a wear red day, stay and play, guess the love hearts game and cake sale in aid of Tiny Tickers today. We made heart biscuits yesterday for Jessica to take to preschool today.

Day 42 – I am grateful to Jessica’s Tiny Talk toddler signing class for also supporting Heart Week and raising £28 for Tiny Tickers through a ‘Guess the Love Hearts in the jar’ game.

Day 43 – I am grateful for a lovely afternoon watching the girls having fun with their cousins who were visiting from Luxembourg.

Day 44 – I am thankful for hot chocolate on a cold and rainy winter’s day.

  1. Young ladies with dolls’ prams look super cute! The heart biscuits and hot chocolate look delicious. And yes, the crafts are always a bonus on a rainy day.

  2. Sounds like you have had a lovely week. We never have pancakes on any other day, and yet I really like them! How lovely for two places to be supporting Heart Week. Those look like the most amazing homemade hot chocolates! 🙂

    1. Thanks Em – I was so pleased that both the preschool and the toddler signing class supported Heart Week – and yes those hot chocolates were amazing! 🙂

  3. Love the picture of your girls with their dolls prams, just gorgeous! The hot chocolates look divine, all that cream 🙂

  4. Nice to get them out to the park, never ventured out with the twins buggies, have enough trouble with just them.
we eat pancakes a couple of times a month, more so if Bob comes over because that is what he asks for every time he is here.
Well done on the fund raising, those biscuits look great.

    1. Thanks Elaine – I have to admit that going out with the buggies doesn’t happen very often – I have to be in the right frame of mind to psych myself up to cope with the girls and their buggies!

  5. I’m really loving seeing your photos every day, they really remind me to stop and think about the good in my day. Being in the US we eat pancakes a lot so actually didn’t have any on Pancake Day 🙂

    1. Thanks Sara – so glad you love seeing the photos. We really should have pancakes more often here too! 🙂
