#366daysofgratitude – Week 42

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project.  Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

Rehearsals, drawing, a quick visit to the GP, dads, the wonder of autumn leaves, a big room for the church weekend and Jessica enjoying drawing - the things I've been thankful for this week

Day 290 – I am grateful for rehearsals for the church concert which mean I still get the opportunity to perform on stage.

Day 291 – I am grateful for time to sit down and draw.

Day 292 – I am grateful for our fab GP surgery who saw us within minutes of Jessica being sent home from school for going blue and jittery. Thankfully she has perked up now and colour is improved – it looks like it was probably due to her having a bit of a desat due to her having a cold and then running about.

Day 293 – I am grateful for dads. Today is my father-in-law’s birthday but it would have also been my lovely dad’s 83rd birthday. I am grateful that I had such a lovely dad for 30 years but on days like this I miss him just that little bit more.

Day 294 – I am grateful for the wonder on a child’s face when looking at the world around them. We had a lovely time on our walk today, jumping in leaves and trying to catch them falling from the trees.

Day 295 – I am grateful for the lovely big room we’ve been allocated for the church fellowship weekend.

Day 296 – I am grateful for Jessica’s love of drawing and seeing how her pictures develop over time.
