#366daysofgratitude – Week 28

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project.  Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

Teamwork, a woollen heart for my anniversary, waterproofs and wellies, a date night bowling, a day at Bekonscot model village, the preschool leavers' party and a day at the Friends of PICU family fun day - the things I've been grateful for this week

Day 192 – I am grateful for a moment of teamwork and seeing the girls working on a craft project together with Jessica helping Sophie along.

Day 193 – I am grateful for seven years of marriage to my lovely hubby who every now and then surprises me with a romantic gesture. This is my anniversary present – an embroidered woollen heart (for our wool anniversary). He stayed up all night last night to make it for me.

Day 194 – I am grateful for waterproofs and wellies on a rainy day.

Day 195 – I am grateful for our first date night of the year and reliving our uni days with a bowling night.

Day 196 – I am grateful for a lovely start to the summer holidays: a morning exploring Bekonscot model village with my gorgeous girlies.

Day 197 – I am grateful for the wonderful 18 months that Jessica had at her preschool – she loved it and has grown so much in confidence during her time there. They have been amazing and I always felt I was leaving her in very safe hands and never had to worry. Feeling quite sad to say goodbye at the leavers’ party today.

Day 198 – I am grateful for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Southampton General Hospital and all the wonderful staff there who have helped Jessica be here today. We’re at the Friends of PICU family fun day today and bumped into the beautiful Willow and her family. Jessica and Willow both have HLHS and were on the ward together as babies. So lovely to see them both together again today – two beautiful little miracles.
