#366daysofgratitude – Week 26

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project.  Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

Surgery not being needed for another year or two, time with Nanny, school visits, sheltering from the rain, geraniums, Legoland and the Company Display - the things I'm grateful for this week

Day 178 – I am grateful for getting the news today that Jessica’s team are “not planning surgery for the next year or two.” I have spent this year with the fear of the surgery hanging over me and now I feel like a big weight has suddenly lifted off my shoulders! Yes it has to happen eventually but to be able to look a little further ahead than we have been doing is amazing!

Day 179 – I am grateful for having had my mum stay for the last few days – the girls have had a wonderful time with Nanny.

Day 180 – I am grateful that Jessica enjoyed her afternoon at her new school today.

Day 181 – I am grateful for Little Tikes houses being big enough for an adult to take shelter in on a rainy day out at Beale Park.

Day 182 – Having accidentally dug up the “Sophy’s Rose” in the garden, I am grateful for finding Sophie geraniums so we still have a namesake flower for Sophie to go with the Pretty Jessica roses.

Day 183 – I am grateful for another day out at Legoland. We’re reaching the last few days of being able to use preschool passes and go during the week in term-time so making the most of it while we still can!

Day 184 – I am grateful for an afternoon watching Jessica perform with her Girls Brigade friends in the Company Display this afternoon.
