30 simple things that make my world a happier place

It’s the little things in life that can really help to put a smile on my face.  The little moments that remind me that the best things in life often are free.  Since I started doing my #366daysofgratitude project, I’ve become more aware of those simple things that help make my world a happier place.  Here are some of the little things that I love:

  1. Oh I love this list Louise – just wonderful. I too love the feeling of the warm sun on my face, the excitement of christmas morning – just magical and your last one is just perfect – to just be still – that is the best best feeling isn’t it? Wonderful post #FamilyFun

    1. Thank you Helen – just being still is a wonderful feeling, it doesn’t happen very often but it’s blissful when it does! 🙂

  2. This is such a lovely list and I agree with every single one. Saturday nights and watching Strictly is our family time. We let the girls stay up later to watch and all snuggle on the sofa (when we aren’t dancing) shouting SEVEN like Len. A lovely post that I needed to read this morning, thank you 🙂 #FamilyFun

    1. Thank you Emma – we stay up late to watch Strictly too – it’s lovely to have that family time and how lovely that your girls enjoy it too and like to shout out “SEVEN!” like Len 🙂

  3. Oooh fab list. I love getting into bed when they’re fresh sheets, and watching my washing hanging on the line outside. My girls love dandelion clocks too. Strictly, autumn colours, Christmas morning – yes, yes, and yes. I think we should be best friends! haha. #familyfun

    1. Thanks Nat – yes writing the list made me feel happy too! Was lovely to stop and think of all the little things I love 🙂

  7. Wonderful list. I’m with you on so many of these. I keep a list called ‘Small Moments of Happiness’ in my journal for when I have a low moment! The one I just added is like your clothes on the radiator – it’s hugging the bundle of washing when it comes out the tumble dryer. I love to bury my face into the warmth and breath in the clean smell. My husband thinks I mad but it’s such a nice feeling.

Thanks for sharing. This has made me smile! #FamilyFun
