My Sunday Photo 31/07/16 – #bigkidsforGOSH

This week’s Sunday Photo sees me joining with #bigkidsforGOSH, a social media campaign started by Vicki, a fellow heart mummy who blogs at The Honest Confessions of a NICU Mum, to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital who saved her son’s life.

The #bigkidsforGOSH campaign is inspired by the story of Peter Pan, who is closely associated with Great Ormond Street Hospital , thanks to J.M. Barrie gifting the rights of the book to the hospital.  Peter Pan was the boy who never grew up and so Vicki’s charity campaign is all about encouraging people to act like big kids, take a photo of themselves doing so and share across social media along to help raise funds for GOSH.

If you’d like to join in too, here’s what to do:

  1. Take a pic of yourself being a big kid
  2. Donate by TEXTING NMUM and a £ amount to 70070 or visit http://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/confessionsofanicumum
  3. Share it far and wide social media.
  4. Include how to donate so everyone will know how to get involved.

Looking forward to seeing your photos!

  1. Great picture and for a great cause.
Rod at Modern Dad Pages tagged me on IG to do this, so I’ll do during the week and might use for next Sunday’s post.

  2. what a great fund raiser and for an extremely worthy cause. You look good, too, heading up the climbing wall. Good luck with the fund raising, I’ll be sharing and popping over to donate xx

  3. What a great campaign. And you look like you’re enjoying yourself too. I’ve never tried a climbing wall before, #MySundayPhoto

  4. Hi Louise, us adults should have a weekly (or daily) opportunity to act like big kids! Hope you managed to scale the wall!

    xx
