I’ve been meaning to get a mouse for my laptop for a while now as they’re easier to use than a trackpad. Making the transition from thinking about getting one to actually getting one never quite seems to happen though! When Logitech got in touch with me to invite me to try one of the colourful new wireless mice in their Doodle Collection, it was the perfect opportunity to finally get myself a mouse for the laptop.
The Logitech Doodle wireless mouse I received was the Skateburger. It’s a colourful blue mouse with a doodle of a skating cheeseburger. I loved the fun design of the mouse and the bright colours. The mouse also came with some stickers showing various doodles used in the range. They’ve proved to be quite popular with my girls!
I have to confess to being a bit of a technophobe. I’ve never tried to use a wireless mouse before and I thought it would be more difficult to set up than it actually was. All I had to do was plug in the nano receiver into a USB port on my laptop, turn the mouse on using the switch on the base and it was ready to go. It runs on a single AA battery which lasts for up to 12 months and has a wireless range of 10m. It’s also compatible with various operating systems.
I found the mouse very comfortable to use. It’s smaller and more sensitive that the mouse I usually use on my desktop computer. Hubby has since informed me that I can change this in my settings though. It is much easier than the trackpad when using my laptop for longer periods of time. Overall, I’m very happy with it and it’s certainly going to get plenty of use!
The Logitech Doodle wireless mouse retails at £19.99 and is available on the Logitech website in eight different designs. Logitech have kindly sent me another mouse in the Skateburger design to give away to one of my readers. To be in with a chance to win, please enter through the Gleam form below.
