Now that the long winter nights are here, it’s lovely to get into our pyjamas early and snuggle up on the sofa together. We were recently invited to try out some pyjamas from the range available at pyjamas.com. Pyjamas.com offers a range of different pyjamas for all the family, including character pyjamas, matching Christmas pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers.
The sizes range from babies’ size 12-18 months size right up to men’s XXL. Hubby and Thomas are outside the size range, and I’m currently restricted to nightwear that is easy to breastfeed in, so we focused on choosing some girl’s pyjamas for Sophie.
Sophie loves her character pyjamas and was spoilt for choice when looking through the ones available on the website. The characters included a lot of her favourites, such as Minions, Hey Duggee, Go Jetters, Peppa Pig and Ben and Holly. It was a challenge to narrow it down to three choices! In the end, she decided on LOL Surprise Dolls, My Little Pony and PAW Patrol pyjamas.
As you can probably guess from Sophie’s choices, her favourite colour is pink. There is a good selection of different characters and non-character pyjamas on the pyjamas.com website though with plenty of colourful choices for children who aren’t quite so into pink as my daughter is!
The pyjamas are made of soft cotton on the back, sleeves and legs, with the front panel showing the characters being made of polyester. The fabric is fairly thick so they’re nice and warm for this time of year. We ordered one pair in age 4-5 which is just the right size for Sophie at the moment, and two pairs in age 5-6. These are a little long in the legs and sleeves but as the cuffs are elasticated, this isn’t a problem. It means that Sophie has a little more growing room. I’m hoping they’ll see her into next winter too!
The pyjamas washed well on a 40 degree wash. The label does say they shouldn’t be tumble dried, presumably because of the polyester front panel. I have to admit though I only noticed this after they’d been dried on a gentle setting in mine. Fortunately, they were none the worse for it, but probably best to pop them on the airer next time!
The pyjamas we chose ranged in price from £7.99 to £11.99 which I think is a reasonable price for good quality character pyjamas. Standard delivery (1-2 working days) is free on orders over £20 and £2.95 for orders below £20.
Sophie was really happy with her new pyjamas. She loved the clear, bright colourful characters on the front of them. As you can see from the video below, she’s decided that they’re all her favourites! I loved the fact that they were soft and warm and washed well. If you’re looking for some kids pyjamas, then I would definitely recommend checking out the pyjamas.com website.
I received three sets of girls’ pyjamas from www.pyjamas.com for the purposes of this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Prices quoted are correct at the time of posting.
Aww! What a sweetheart. Sophie looks so happy in her new pj’s. x
She was so pleased with them all 🙂
They look lovely and I think Lia would probably choose exactly the same pjs!

Yes, they’re certainly popular characters with that age group at the moment aren’t they? 🙂
