Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. OMG It’s A Girl shared a couple of sayings from Little Miss OMG – my favourite was “bop it” which sounds much more adorable than “stop it”.
We spent a few days with my sister over half-term. Jessica was quite upset when it was time to go. She clearly wasn’t too impressed by Mummy not giving in and agreeing to stay longer so went over to Sophie, hoping her little sister would be more sympathetic.
Jessica: (tearful) “I don’t want to go home!”
Sophie: (more interested in the toy she has in her hand): “Okay. Calm down Jessica.”
Sophie came over to give me a big cuddle as I was sitting listening to Jessica read. She looked up at me with the most beautiful smile.
“I love you Mummy, you’re so beautiful. You have such beautiful hair. What colour is it?”
“Brown.”
“Brown? It’s not brown, it’s white!”
Cheeky monkey! I might have a few glitter strands here and there but it’s still a long way off white!
