Me and Mine (November)

We only just managed to get a photo of the four of us taken in time for this month’s ‘Me and Mine’ as despite having a reasonable amount of family time together, it has generally been at times when there are too many other distractions – for instance when we have been busy rehearsing for our Christmas concert. I’m looking forward to quality time together as a family next month as Christmas is always a quiet time for hubby – the one time when we really can enjoy family time without the distractions that generally come with day-to-day life.

This month’s photos were taken earlier today when we saw Father Christmas at the Families of Ocean Ward Christmas party (Ocean Ward was the cardiac ward where Jessica was cared for following her heart surgeries). They’re not the best ones of us as Jessica was tired and Sophie was starting to feel unwell so they’re both looking quite sad and not at all like their usually happy selves. Sophie’s been quite poorly this evening and wanting lots of mummy snuggles, bless her. Fingers crossed she is better very soon and back to her usual sunny self.

    1. Thanks Katy – it’s a great way of making me remember to get a family shot. Glad you like the header – thought I’d change it for the festive season 🙂

  6. Bless them! So glad you got a shot of all of you. We only have one or two of the three of us as Mr Hubby hates having his picture taken. I hope they are well soon and the smiles return. Thanks for linking to #PointShoot x
