From the mouths of babes is a weekly linky which invites you to share a post, old or new, about something your children have said. Those adorable mispronounced words, the glimpses into their imaginations, the blunt observations – whatever it is, I’d love to hear about it!
Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. I loved Hank’s response to being kicked out of his bed by his little sister and the reasons why he loved sleeping in the guest room shared by Conversations with Hank. Le Coin de Mel shared her latest family update. Wriggly’s toddlerisms, such as “grekfast” for “breakfast” made me smile as did Jumpy’s description of her Maman being “like a tall teenager who looks after kids”.
Sophie has been making me laugh recently with some of the things she says, such as this recent conversation:
Sophie: “Mummy, make it stop!”
Me: “Make what stop?”
S: “My eyes!”
Me: “What about your eyes?”
S: “They keep closing when I blink!”
Jessica has started coming out with a couple of phrases that make me smile. If I ask her to do something, she will often say “Ok, you’re the boss!” I also get “you’re absolutely right, Mummy!” if she agrees with me on something. I shall enjoy hearing these ones while they last!
If you have any posts about something that your children have been saying lately, please do come and link up. The linky opens each Monday from 6am and closes on Friday at 11pm. Please add the badge below to your post so others know where they can link up. I will share posts via Twitter. If you use the hashtag #ftmob I’ll also do my best to retweet them. Posts linked up will also be added to the #ftmob Pinterest board.
Looking forward to reading what your little ones have been saying!
