We’ve enjoyed some celebrations this week, starting with my birthday at the weekend. It was an early start for me as Sophie had a morning rehearsal and had to be at the theatre at 8am. I had some quiet time on my own at Jessica’s forever bed on the way home from taking her to rehearsal which was nice. After Sophie’s rehearsal, we headed down to my twin sister’s house for a birthday barbecue.

Thomas was excited on Tuesday as it was ‘Colorball Day’ (he told me later in the week that it was ‘Colorball Week’ too). We had Colorball pancakes for tea (pancakes with banana, strawberrie, green grapes and blueberries) and a Colorball cake to celebrate.
There’s been celebrations for Sophie with dancing this week. She had a dance festival on Sunday and came 1st in her character solo, 2nd in her modern solo and song and dance solo and 4th in her musical theatre duet. There was also a celebration in her dance school this week over some exciting news about an event that will be happening in the autumn.

What I’ve been grateful for this week:

- Day 128 – I am grateful for a quiet calm kitchen after the rush of the school run and time to bake a batch of cheese scones.
- Day 129 – I am grateful for birthday celebrations with my twinny.
- Day 130 – I am grateful for a silver medal for Sophie in her modern solo.
- Day 131 – I am grateful for post-rehearsal chats at the pub.
- Day 132 – I am grateful for a cake to help Thomas celebrate ‘Colorball Day’
- Day 133 – I am grateful for adorable plushies.
- Day 134 – I am grateful for a thought-provoking insight into the teenage brain through Richings Players brilliant production of Brainstorm.
