#366daysofgratitude – Week 7

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project. Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

#366daysofgratitude - Week 7 - Little Hearts, Big Love

Day 45 – I am grateful to my lovely hubby for all his hard work this weekend that has meant we now have a guest room ready for friends to stay in.

Day 46 – I am grateful for sunshine, warm coats and somewhere to explore on a winter’s day.

Day 47 – I am grateful for a fun afternoon at Innocent Fruit Towers learning about how to grow different vegetables.

Day 48 – I am grateful for a quiet day full of snuggles on the sofa with a little girl who seems to be feeling a bit better but still very subdued. It’s a long time since she last fell asleep in my arms in the day and whilst it’s not nice that she is feeling poorly, I’m making the most of the snuggles.

Day 49 – I am grateful for indoor picnics to help make lunchtime more fun especially as we’re having another indoor day after another rough night thanks to the croup.

Day 50 – This was always going to make it on to the gratitude list sooner or later! I am grateful for coffee (and for not having given it up for Lent this year!) keeping me going after the last few disturbed nights!

Day 51 – I am grateful for a lovely evening out for Grandma’s birthday.

  1. I love day 46, even if it’s cold, it’s so much more cheerful when the sun is shining.
And love the indoor picnic, the simplest things turn out to be the best of all.
I hope Sophie is feeling better now x #MMBC

    1. Thanks Jayne – it has been lovely to have some sunshine. Sophie is feeling much better now, thank you 🙂

  2. I love a gratitude list, I find it makes me so much more positive about everything. There’s something really special about this time of year and getting outside despite the cold – the sunshine makes it feel like spring is right there! Sorry to hear about the croup has had you stuck inside for the rest of the week, although there’s something equally special about an indoor picnic!

    1. Thanks Katy – I’m really enjoying doing this challenge this year – it really does help me focus on the positives. It is lovely to have sunshine at the moment isn’t it? Thankfully Sophie is feeling better now so hopefully we can get out again and enjoy it a little more! 🙂
