#366daysofgratitude – Week 50

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project.  Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

Day 346 – I am grateful for new recipes to try out – loved tonight’s garlic prawns with mini roast potatoes and walnut and parsley pepper courtesy of this week’s Hello Fresh box.

Day 347 – I am glad for ordinary quiet afternoons after school with my girls together again.

Day 348 – I am grateful for cuddles and moments like this one between my girls.

New recipes, afternoons after school, snuggles between my girls, Jessica's heart day, a little angel in the nativity play, sticky sausages and festive fun at Legoland - the things I'm grateful for this week

Day 349 – I am grateful to be marking another heart day with this beautiful girl of mine. This time five years ago she was just coming out of theatre after her second open-heart surgery and we had a very bumpy first night. I will never forget the 30 minutes we spent waiting for news from intensive care, both of us utterly terrified that we were about to lose her. To be five years on from that moment is a huge blessing.

Day 350 – I am grateful for the joy of seeing this beautiful little angel in the nativity play.

Day 351 – I am grateful for sticky sausages, mulled wine and time with lovely friends at their annual Christmas party.

Day 352 – I am grateful for a fabulous festive day out with my three favourite people.

That photo of Jessica as an angel is absolutely adorable. I’m always grateful for mulled wine at this time of year too!
