#366daysofgratitude – Week 34

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project.  Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

Time with heart families, playing the piano for my sister, my lovely hubby, painting with syringes, umbrellas in the rain, a day out at Baddesley Clinton and a trip through the Dudley tunnel - the things I've been grateful for this week

Day 234 – I am grateful for the opportunity to meet up with other heart families at the Families of Ocean Ward day out at Paulton’s Park. This gorgeous girlie chatting with Jessica has the same heart condition and we have been following her story since before she was born. We don’t get to meet up with her and her lovely family very often but days like this give that opportunity to come together and be amongst other families with similar fears, experiences and concerns. The heart community is a wonderfully supportive one and I’m very grateful for it.

Day 235 – I am grateful for getting to play the piano and accompany my twinny’s beautiful singing.

Day 236 – I am grateful for this lovely hubby of mine.

Day 237 – I am grateful for the syringes left over from Jessica’s tube-fed days – we’ve been using them to squirt paint onto lining paper – very messy but lots of fun!

Day 238 – I am grateful for umbrellas and seeing my girls having fun out in the rain.

Day 239 – I am grateful for a fun afternoon exploring Baddesley Clinton.

Day 240 – I am grateful for this excited little face as we headed off on a boat ride into the Dudley Tunnel.
