#366daysofgratitude – Week 23

Throughout 2016 I will be posting a photo on Instagram each day, sharing something that I am grateful for each day as part of my #366daysofgratitude project.  Here are the things I have been grateful for this week:

Pyjamas, hospital beds, successful cardiac catheter procedures, time with family, roses, glasses and climbing - the things I've been thankful for this week

Day 157 – I am grateful that I managed to find a pair of button-up pyjamas for Jessica for hospital – these are boys’ ones and were the only pair I could find after trying every shop in town!

Day 158 – I am grateful that we managed to get a bed for Jessica to be admitted for tomorrow’s cardiac catheter and for a visit from Godmummy Katy.

Day 159 – I am thankful that Jessica is back from her catheter and even managing a little smile after lots of Mummy snuggles. Waiting to hear the full report on how it all went but glad to have my little girl back on the ward again.

Day 160 – I am thankful for all the wonderful care Jessica received in hospital but even more thankful that we have now been discharged and heading home via Nanny’s house.

Day 161 – I am grateful for pretty roses in the garden.

Day 162 – I am grateful for my lovely new glasses.

Day 163 – I am grateful for little milestones – like seeing my big girl work out how to climb one of these for the first time without any help.

  1. Next time you need button-up PJs, try John Lewis. My mum was desperate to get some for the girls last year and after searching everywhere, that’s where she ended up. They were really pretty too! Glad it all went well at the hospital. Is it just a waiting game now? Lovely new glasses by the way sweetie xxx
