#365daysofgratitude – Week 5

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 29 – I am grateful for a lovely afternoon/evening catching up with friends from my ballroom dancing days and celebrating a 40th birthday.

Day 30 – I am grateful for Go Jetters and the way they’ve helped teach Jessica about various landmarks. She was so excited about visiting Stonehenge yesterday and kept asking me to make her a “souvenir selfie” picture with the Go Jetters which I did for her today. Love a bit of photo editing!

Day 31 – I am grateful for smiles and snuggles at bedtime.

Catching up with friends at a 40th birthday party; a souvenir selfie with the Go Jetters; smiles and snuggles at bedtime; compliments from my children; Bilingua Sing classes; a love of reading and hubby taking the children to the park while I was at the local walk-in clinic - the things I'm thankful for this week

Day 32 – I am grateful for the adorable compliments that my children give me. Being told “you’re so beautiful Mummy, I love you very much” is one of the most wonderful things I could ever hear.

Day 33 – I am grateful for Bilinguasing classes and seeing how much fun Sophie has “at French”

Day 34 – I am grateful for books and a little girl who seems to have inherited my love of reading. So proud of her getting her silver reading raccoon certificate today for having read 50 books.

Day 35 – I am grateful for hubby being around and taking the girls to the park while I spent the afternoon at the walk-in clinic.

  1. How lovely the compliments your girls give you. I like the sound of the French lessons, I’ve always wished I’d managed to speak French to my girls. I hope all is well with you after your afternoon at the walk-in clinic too.
