#365daysofgratitude – Week 36

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 246 – I am grateful for a fun day out at Paultons Park – it might have rained all day but on the plus side we didn’t have to queue very much!

Day 247 – I am grateful for a quiet afternoon at home doing some crafts together.

Day 248 – I am grateful for a lovely day at Chessington – the perfect way to end the summer holidays.

Jessica and Sophie driving on Daddy Pig's Car Ride; Sophie glueing felt for a monster puppet; Jessica and Sophie riding on the animal carousel at Chessington; Jessica opening her birthday presents; Sophie standing in front of a wall; Sophie drinking a babycino; Jessica and Sophie playing with a Playmobil water park playground model

Day 249 – I am grateful for six years with this gorgeous girl of mine. So glad she has enjoyed her birthday today and her first day in Year 1. Amazing to think that six years ago she was having her first open heart surgery. My little miracle. So thankful for every day with her. Thank you to everyone for all her lovely birthday wishes too.

Day 250 – I am grateful for the first accident-free day in quite some time for this little lady. Potty training has been quite a challenge second time round and I suspect there are quite a few extra grey hairs in my head as a result of it all. Hopefully being back in routine again is helping turn the corner with this.

Day 251 – I am grateful for getting to catch up with a friend over coffee (and babycino).

Day 252 – I am grateful for new Playmobil after a shopping trip for Jessica to spend her birthday money – good choice Jessica!
