#365daysofgratitude – Week 13

For the last two years, I have taken part in a daily gratitude challenge – sharing one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. It’s taught me to look for the little things and has made me a more positive person. Even on the difficult days, I have managed to find something that I can be thankful for. It’s now become such a positive part of my life that I’ve decided to keep going for a third year. To find something in every day that I am thankful for, no matter how small. These weekly summaries have become a lovely way of looking back across the week, and a reminder that I have so much to be thankful for. These are the things that I have been thankful this week:

Day 84 – I am grateful for a beautiful bouquet of flowers. What a lovely surprise to be given these at today’s concert rehearsal.

Day 85 – I am grateful that Jessica has perked up this evening after being sent home from school this morning due to being blue and cold and then spending most of today dozing on the sofa. It’s been a tough half-term for her trying to fight off winter bugs and struggling energy-wise. She’s back to half days again to try and help her get through this last week. Really hope the Easter holidays will be the break she needs to start picking up again.

Day 86 – I am grateful that all looked normal with Peanut on today’s 20 week scan.

Day 87 – I am grateful for a quiet afternoon with my girls doing some Easter crafts. They’ve been busy decorating some cardboard eggs as part of making Sophie an Easter egg crown for her preschool Easter concert tomorrow.

Day 88 – I am grateful for getting to see Sophie perform in her preschool Easter concert today. Loved her happy little grin and wriggle when everyone applauded at the end of each song.

Day 89 – I am grateful that the spare room is usable again!

Day 90 – I am grateful that the girls enjoyed the ferry crossing on their first trip to the Isle of Wight.
