    1. Thank you. We did the journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats last year by train and bus. Sophie was awarded the trophy for being the youngest person to do the journey last year.

    1. Thank you. The two trophy is Sophie’s – she was the youngest person to do Land’s End to John O’Groats last year. 🙂

  1. A lovely photo of you and the girls. For a moment, I thought that said Lane End (where we used to live) to John O’Groats! It’s getting late …

    1. Lol, Lane End would have made it a shorter journey (and a bit quicker to get to the start from home too!)

  2. Lovely photo and I’m intrigued to know what it’s all about! I’m assuming it’s some sort of celebration for people who’ve made the trek from Land’s End to John O’Groats? Is the trophy yours?

    1. Thank you Sarah. It was the annual dinner for the Land’s End to John O’Groats Association. We got our certificates for completing the journey last year. There are various trophies awarded each year for making the journey in different ways or raising the most for charity. Sophie was awarded the trophy for being the youngest person to complete the journey last year.

  3. Hi Louise, it looks like little Sophie can’t take any more of the fame and limelight. Or maybe she’s just a little tired from lugging around such a huge trophy? It is a lovely photo as always.

    xx

    1. Thanks Debbie. She was really tired by that point in the evening – it was a very late night for her!

  4. What a lovely photo of the three of you. Congrats to Sophie on winning the cup 🙂 Another great memory of your fabulous trip. #MySundayPhoto

    1. Thank you Tara – it was lovely to relive the trip and meet others who had done the journey in different ways 🙂

    1. Thank you so much – we had to give the big one back at the end of the evening but she got to keep the little one 🙂

  5. What a brilliant achievement and memory for you and your girls. A great photo and that trophy is awesome.
    Have a great week 😀

    1. Thank you Neesie – it was such a proud mummy moment. Hope you have a lovely week too 🙂

    1. Thank you Martyn. No problem about the late comment – I’m playing catch-up this week too!

    1. Thank you so much Vicky – no problem with a late comment, I have weeks where I find myself playing catch-up too!
