One of the best things about the summer is being able to spend so much time outside, going out and about or just spending time in the garden. The girls love being able to play outside, not least because Mummy is much less distracted by chores than when we are stuck inside!
Sophie loves being in her swing, and being able to have a good view of what is going on around her…
Jessica loves playing in her playhouse…
We have been picking “Upsy Daisy flowers” (as Jessica calls them). Mummy helped Jessica to make some daisy chains…
Plus being outside more means lots of picnics and tea parties with the toys in the garden…
It is lovely just to stop for a while and do nothing but sit in the garden with my babies and see the world through their eyes. Simple pleasures like picking daisies, pointing out the aeroplane flying overhead and just enjoying the sunshine.

I love sitting the children on a blanket it in the garden. In fact I love sitting on a blanket in the garden! Everything is better and more interesting outside 🙂
