This month’s photos were taken in order to send Nanny a photo of my girls in their beautiful matching winter dresses – I was trying to get them both sitting nicely and looking at the camera but of course it didn’t quite work out that way!
I love the way the photos have captured the love between my two beautiful girls – I love the way Sophie looks up to her big sister and the way Jessica loves to make her little sister laugh. I love their cheeky smiles and the chatter that we are starting to get between them now – Jessica will generally chat away to herself and Sophie as she plays throughout the day and Sophie is now getting increasingly chatty and will join in. She is definitely starting to mimic things now – especially the little shriek at the end of the line in “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” about “If you see a crocodile don’t forget to scream!” or pretending to roar.
Jessica is starting to become a little more of a bossy big sister at times but loves to hold hands with her little sister (although Sophie is much too keen on being independent to hold hands for more than a second or two!) and give her big cuddles. She is also starting to become a little happier about sharing her toys with her sister (although admittedly it does depend on the toy!)
Linking up with Lucy at dearbeautiful for her monthly siblings linky:
Ah, well it’ll always depend on the toy! Lovely photos, especially that last one, and such cute little dresses! x
Thank you – love their dresses too! 🙂
Awww aren’t they so cute together, especially in their matching dresses.
Thank you! 🙂

Thanks Lucy – lovely to watch their bond develop and great to link up with you on this each month 🙂
Great photos, love the matching dresses. It must be great seeing their relationship grow x
Thank you – yes, it is lovely watching them. I love this linky for helping me focus and capturing that sibling bond 🙂
