Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. Conversations with Hank had me chuckling over Molly discovering she has a “lasagna”. Cuddle Fairy also made me laugh with her post about her son cheering for the choir at the end of a very long mass.
For my birthday back in May, the girls gave me a teddy bear that they’d made at the Build a Bear shop. They recorded themselves singing Happy Birthday which they plays whenever the bear is squeezed and chose an outfit for the bear – a T shirt and a green tutu. The other day, Jessica was wearing the bear’s green tutu like a collar.
“Look, Mummy!” she said, “I’m a lion!”
As the girls were getting ready for bed the other night, I went to clean Sophie’s face because she had a grubby mark on it.
“I can’t see it!” Sophie protested.
“No, Sophie,” Jessica said, with all the wisdom of a bigger sister, “we can’t see ourselves because we’re wearing ourselves!”
