#365daysofgratitude – Week 37

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 253 – I am grateful for a Sunday afternoon spent playing board games as a family.

Day 254 – I am grateful for fairy tales and stories and the wonderful places they can take you.

Day 255 – I am grateful for a fun afternoon having one-to-one time with my littlest lady.

Jessica and Sophie playing a board game; Jessica wearing a princess dress and reading a story magazine; Sophie playing with a ornamental dragonfly in the garden; Jessica reading a Bible story; Sophie looking happy to have found a "fairy hole" in a tree; Jessica posting a letter and Sophie and Jessica having fun in a garden - "#365daysofgratitude - Week 37"

Day 256 – I am grateful for getting back to normal bedtime routines again.

Day 257 – I am grateful for woodland walks that become magical adventures with a little imagination. Sophie was so excited to discover a fairy hole in this tree on our walk today.

Day 258 – I am grateful for time with my big girl. Today should have been the day of her heart surgery but it has been postponed for a few weeks because hubby is so busy at work. I know it has to happen but I’m grateful to be able to enjoy a normal day today and hold off the rollercoaster of hospital life for a little longer.

Day 259 – I am grateful for a lovely afternoon catching up with friends and watching the girls having fun playing in the sunshine.
