This weekend has seen a very big milestone for my baby girl as Sophie took her very first couple of steps on her own and was so proud of herself! It seems only yesterday that she was a tiny baby and now she’s starting to walk and is getting into everything and thoroughly enjoying it! Well done little Sophie!
She also got her first pair of shoes last week as she was getting more confident with cruising and has already worked out how to take them off so we have to keep a close eye when she’s in the pushchair otherwise we will end up losing a shoe! At the moment she finds it easier to take those occasional little unsupported steps in her bare feet though although is getting used to the shoes.
Sophie isn’t the only one taking her first steps this week – I’ve finally taken the plunge and gone self-hosted with a new name and new style for my blog which I’m quite excited about. The last few weeks have been quite a learning curve but I’m pleased with the end result and looking forward to this new stage of my blogging journey.

Well done Sophie!! Definitely up there with the bitter sweet moments of being super proud of our little ones taking their first steps and super sad that they are becoming more of a toddler and less of a baby!
