This week has been quite an emotionally draining one with two funerals and a memorial service for three church members who have died in recent weeks. They were all beautiful services, with lots of lovely memories shared and it has been nice to see some people that I haven’t seen for a long time and catch up with them, but it’s been intense.

It’s also been a busy week for Sophie with rehearsals and for me with trying to juggle work around everything that’s been going on this week. I’ve definitely been grateful for the few calm, quiet moments this week to stop and just be.
What I’ve been grateful for this week:

- Day 107 – I am grateful for pretty views.
- Day 108 – I am grateful for a beautiful service remembering Jenny and the wonderful person she was.
- Day 109 – I am grateful that Sophie enjoyed some quiet crafting during church.
- Day 110 – I am grateful that Sophie had fun making a string shooter.
- Day 111 – I am grateful for blossom.
- Day 112 – I am grateful for Peter K and all the many ways that he was a big part of our church family. Today’s service was a fitting tribute to him and he will be very much missed.
- Day 113 – I am grateful for a quiet moment before today’s funeral, remembering and celebrating the life of Peter M.
Other things that have made me smile this week:
- Thomas having a much better week at school thanks to having time out of the main classroom in the afternoons and being able to focus better in a quieter environment.
- A shopping trip with Sophie to treat herself after getting paid for the first time!
- Thomas’s joy at being back at swimming lessons.
- Getting lots of washing out on the line thanks to the lovely weather.

I am so sorry. Two funerals and a memorial service is a lot to deal with in one week! Sending love and hugs.
Fab photos! The blossom is so pretty at the moment, it’s just a shame that it doesn’t last long.
