Enjoying family time together with Pomegreat – plus a chance to win a £100 Go Ape voucher

It’s rare for the four of us to eat at the table together during the week. I usually eat dinner with the girls and hubby reheats his when he gets home from the girls. Eating together midweek is a rare treat. Last week though, hubby came home early one evening. It was lovely to be able to sit at the table together and enjoy a family meal. It was also an opportunity to try out some Pomegreat juice which I recently received as part of their latest promotion.

Pomegreat is made from sweet, ripe pomegranates grown in California. The pomegranate juice is enhanced with aronia juice to produce a refreshing juice drink. We all enjoyed the pomegranate juice, apart from Jessica who will only drink water. Sophie liked it so much that she asked for more as soon as she finished her glass.  The taste reminded me a little of cranberry juice – refreshing but not too sweet. There was also no bitter aftertaste, which is something I dislike about cranberry juice.

Our midweek family dinner was a simple one – chicken pie, mashed potato and peas. The main thing though was just being together, enjoying time as a family. I love it when we all sit around the table together. There are no distractions from phones and screens and it’s a little window of time when we can focus on each other, on talking together and enjoying each other’s company. It’s not perfect – mealtimes with small children bring their own challenges! – but it’s still quality family time.

  1. Having a hubby that doesn’t drive and only rides motorbikes is hard to get out so he invested in buying a TukTuk which had backseats on it so he could drive me and my children to places ( not on the Motorway) lol. We’ve been going to parks locally some we’ve never been to before. My children love going in the TukTuk they think its hilarious especially when it goes up a hill slow and cars start overtaking it lol

  2. family trips to the seaside is def our favourite, living in the midlands, we don’t see it often

  3. My favourite activity with my family is walking. We go every day after school and after we have had tea to take the dog for a long walk. We mostly walk mountains and around the local forestry and down to the waterfalls which is not far from where we live (only 2 streets away)

  4. Our fav activity as a family is visiting the grandparents on the south coast and enjoying the seaside!

  5. Taking our dog for long walks in our nearby wood is always good fun, riding our bikes along the riverside and going down to Brighton is a lovely treat…we love the seaside. x

  6. Family walks round the local woods and lakes, always a special time when we are outside having fun 🙂

  7. We love walking our dog at weekends in the woods and national parks and we love to play frisbee as a family.

  8. We love going to our local county park -it has NATURE trails adventure playgrounds and most of all freedom to run and play

  9. We love to go camping together, preferably near a beach for bodyboarding which is our second favourite family activity.

  10. We love adventure walks – going somewhere different and exploring – we always pretend we are on a big adventure
