#365daysofgratitude – Week 40

For the last two years, I have taken part in a daily gratitude challenge – sharing one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. It’s taught me to look for the little things and has made me a more positive person. It has not always been easy to find something to be grateful for each day though, especially since losing my beautiful daughter Jessica in April. Jessica’s zest for life, her strength and the joy that she gave to all who knew her have always inspired me. I continue with this challenge every day in honour of her.

Day 273 – I am grateful for these lovely outfits that Grandma and Grandad bought the children during their recent stay in Aix-en-Provence

Day 274 – I am grateful to have been able to say goodbye to a beautiful lady whose strength was, and continues to be, an inspiration to me. Lisa, it was an honour to have been your friend. Sending love and thoughts to Ashley and all the family xxx

Day 275 – I am grateful for bedtime cuddles.

Day 276 – I am grateful for my stretchy wrap. Thomas often naps in it during the day which means I have my hands free to get on with various jobs while he sleeps and he gets snuggled at the same time.

Day 277 – I am grateful that the evenings are still light enough for some after-school adventures.

Day 278 – I am grateful that hubby stopped for a takeaway on the way home.

Day 279 – I am grateful that Sophie had such a wonderful time at her friend’s birthday party. Love watching these two together. Friendship is such a beautiful thing.
