#365daysofgratitude – Week 29

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 197 – I am grateful for time to draw. This is one of the drawings for the story book that I’m making for Jessica to help prepare her for her next surgery.

Day 198 – I am grateful for fun in the garden making mud cakes.

Day 199 – I am grateful for the Hub Cafe mum and toddler group. Today was Sophie’s last session as she will be going to preschool on Tuesdays from September. It’s the end of an era. I first started going with Jessica four years ago. I am sure I will still pop in for a cuppa and cake but it will be strange not to have any little ones in tow.

Day 200 – I am grateful for Super Jessica who will always be a superhero in my eyes.

Day 201 – I am grateful that Jessica has enjoyed her first year at school so much. I can’t quite believe her year in Reception passed by so quickly but it has been wonderful to see her learn and grow and thrive at school. They’ve been amazing at looking out for her extra needs too. Have to admit I shed a few tears today with it being her last day in Reception. Looking forward to time with both my girls over the summer and making memories together before the next step on our heart family journey.

Day 202 – I am grateful that hubby was home to do bedtime this evening after a somewhat challenging start to the school holidays.

Day 203 – I am grateful for some one-to-one time with my big girl today as we head into town to learn how to draw Buttons the Cadbury cow.
