#365daysofgratitude – Week 13

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 85 – I am grateful for a lovely Mothers’ Day with my family.

Day 86 – I am grateful that the trip to the dentist is all done and dusted for another six months!

Day 87 – I am grateful for odd socks, a plastic bottle and bubble mixture and the sheer joy of watching Sophie having fun making bubble snakes.

Me and my girls on Mother's Day; Jessica wearing her star-shaped sunglasses in the dentist's chair; Sophie blowing snake bubbles; me cycling on a velocycle down a Parisian street; Sophie wearing her Easter bonnet; Sophie giving Jessica a hug at pick up time from school; Sophie and Jessica with their hands in a mixing bowl rubbing butter into flour - #365daysofgratitude - Week 13

Day 88 – I am grateful for having been part of the EU. I am a European and I always will be. My ancestry is mixed – predominantly British but part Belgian and Irish too. I still believe that we are stronger together; that it would be better to stay. But those who disagree have voted otherwise and so today marks a big step into the unknown. Let’s just hope it all turns out well in the end.

Day 89 – I am grateful for getting to see my baby girl taking part in her first preschool Easter concert today.

Day 90 – I am grateful for the end of term and am looking forward to having two weeks with these two beautiful girls of mine.

Day 91 – I am grateful for an afternoon spent making Easter biscuits with my girls.

  1. I agree with you about the EU, I didn’t like the result of the vote but thank goodness we live in a democracy and I hope that as a collective we have made the right decision although I’m really not convinced we have.

    1. Thanks Jenny, I love doing it. Having to have a photo sometimes makes it a little more tricky but the more I get used to looking out for things to be thankful for, the easier it becomes 🙂
