#365daysofgratitude 2018 – Week 3

For the last two years, I have taken part in a daily gratitude challenge – sharing one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. It’s taught me to look for the little things and has made me a more positive person. Even on the difficult days, I have managed to find something that I can be thankful for. It’s now become such a positive part of my life that I’ve decided to keep going for a third year. To find something in every day that I am thankful for, no matter how small. These weekly summaries have become a lovely way of looking back across the week, and a reminder that I have so much to be thankful for. These are the things that I have been thankful this week:

Day 14 – I am grateful for being able to surprise everyone at church this morning when we all arrived together after Jessica came home last night! We didn’t think we’d get home this soon but Jessica has done amazingly well. So thankful for all the love and prayers that have helped us through this time – we have been very blessed.

Day 15 – I am grateful for being able to get out and about with Jessica even if it was just on the preschool run.

Day 16 – I am grateful for a surprise visit from my mum and sister.

Jessica and Sophie with one of the Brigade leaders at church; Jessica in her buggy; Jessica and Sophie with Nanny and Auntie Loraynne; Jessica opening a parcel full of stationery; me holding Jessica's hand; Jessica playing in the playroom on Ocean Ward; a princess Playmobil scene - "#365daysofgratitude - Week 3"

Day 17 – I am grateful for a lovely parcel in the post from my cousin with notebooks, pencils and activities for the girls. Such a lovely surprise and so kind.

Day 18 – I am grateful for little hands to hold at bedtime and two little girls asleep in their own little beds.

Day 19 – I am grateful that everything looked good at Jessica’s check-up today.

Day 20 – I am grateful for Playmobil. Perfect for keeping the girls amused on a cold and rainy January day.
