From the mouths of babes #90

From the mouths of babes is a weekly linky which invites you to share a post, old or new, about something your children have said. Those adorable mispronounced words, the glimpses into their imaginations, the blunt observations – whatever it is, I’d love to hear about it!

A big thank you to everyone who linked up last week.  I enjoyed reading This Mum Business’s thought-provoking post about the blunt honesty of children and Carson’s Mummy’s post sharing a blog post written by her son about making the most of being small and hugging his mum and dad.

Sophie with her "musicorn" slippers - From the mouths of babes #90

With the mornings starting to be a bit on the chilly side, dressing gowns and slippers are making a reappearance.  The girls both love their slippers. Sophie keeps pointing out the “musicorns” on hers (otherwise known as unicorns but “musicorns” is too cute to correct!).  Jessica has named the two wolves on her slippers – the left one is Wayne and the right one is Maxian.

Daddy has been working away a lot over the last few weeks, but has been home for the odd day here and there.  He took the sleeper train home from Scotland last week – although Jessica was quite certain that “Daddy drove the train home!”

If you have any posts about something that your children have been saying lately, please do come and link up. The linky opens each Monday from 6am and closes on Friday at 11pm so there is plenty of time to link up your posts (old and new posts are welcome!). Please add the badge below to your post so others know where they can also link up (the badge code is below). I will also try and share posts via Twitter – please use the hashtag #ftmob and I’ll do my best to retweet them. I also have a Pinterest board and will be sharing posts here too.

Looking forward to reading what your little ones have been saying!

  1. Love that about daddy driving the train home! Let’s hope he wasn’t asleep as he was driving 🙂 Musiciorn is much better than unicorn; I wouldn’t correct her either!

    1. Lol my girls love the Tom Tom too especially the voice activation on it – I often hear them shouting “hello Tom Tom” to try to make it work 🙂

    1. Lol glad he wasn’t driving as that would have defeated the point of getting the sleeper train in the first place! 🙂
