From the mouths of babes is a weekly linky which invites you to share a post, old or new, about something your children have said. Those adorable mispronounced words, the glimpses into their imaginations, the blunt observations. Whatever it is, I’d love to hear about it!
A big thank you to everyone who linked up last week. I loved reading about Monkey’s first week at school and the video of him singing Humpty Dumpty that Becoming a Stay at Home Mum shared. After The Rain also made me chuckle with her daughter’s concern about getting “gerbils” in her tummy.
Jessica and I were talking about twins the other day while watching Topsy and Tim. I explained that Mummy and Auntie Fizz were twins like Topsy and Tim. Jessica’s response? “You can’t be a twin. You don’t have two heads!” Not entirely sure where she’s got that idea from!
She also made me chuckle this week whilst crafting. “Mummy, I need a new glue stick. This one’s run out of power!”
We were visiting our friends Neil and Sandra over the weekend and took the girls to a nearby playground. I’m not sure who had more fun – Neil or the girls. It was so cute to hear Sophie calling out “Wheel! Wheel! Come here, Wheel!”
If you have any posts about something that your children have been saying lately, please do come and link up. The linky opens each Monday from 6am and closes on Friday at 11pm so there is plenty of time to link up your posts (old and new posts are welcome!). Please add the badge below to your post so others know where they can also link up (the badge code is below). I will also try and share posts via Twitter – please use the hashtag #ftmob and I’ll do my best to retweet them. I also have a Pinterest board and will be sharing posts here too.
Looking forward to reading what your little ones have been saying!
Thank you for the mention 🙂 I’m pleased you haven’t got two heads. How cute is the nickname Wheel though. I hope she keeps using it 🙂
I loved “Wheel” – so cute that I didn’t have the heart to correct her! 🙂
Glue stick power .. Love it!
