From the mouths of babes is a weekly linky which invites you to share a post, old or new, about something your children have said. Those adorable mispronounced words, the glimpses into their imaginations, the blunt observations – whatever it is, I’d love to hear about it!
A big thank you to everyone who linked up last week. Inside Martyn’s Thoughts shared his sons’ views on seeing Santa’s helper (and their logic as to why it wasn’t the real Santa) and I loved their critique of some local festive lights. R is for Hoppit also made me chuckle with her Toddler’s comment about the decorations: “You made Christmas! I’m not ready!”
I’ll be taking a blogging break over the Christmas period and so this will be the last “From the mouths of babes” post for this year. A huge thank you to everyone who has linked up over the last year. From the mouths of babes will be back again on 4th January 2016.
We put our Christmas tree up last week and the reaction from the girls when they woke up in the morning and saw it there was just magical. Jessica in particular has been very excited about the fact that it is now “Christmas in our house!”
Sophie has been enjoying playing with the wooden nativity figures and creating her own alternative versions of the nativity story. I quite liked the one where one of the kings told Mary “you did very well, I love you!” Sadly Joseph’s reaction to this has to be left to the imagination…
Finally, I thought I’d share a video clip of Jessica and Sophie wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy!
If you have any posts about something that your children have been saying lately, please do come and link up. The linky opens each Monday from 6am and closes on Friday at 11pm so there is plenty of time to link up your posts (old and new posts are welcome!). Please add the badge below to your post so others know where they can also link up (the badge code is below). I will also try and share posts via Twitter – please use the hashtag #ftmob and I’ll do my best to retweet them. I also have a Pinterest board and will be sharing posts here too.
Looking forward to reading what your little ones have been saying this week.
