Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. I loved Northumberland Mam’s post about the things her girls have said recently – especially her teen describing her as being “nearly cool.”
The girls like to be carried on Daddy’s shoulders. Sometimes it takes a while to negotiate who goes first when they both want to be carried at the same time and we have to persuade them to take turns. Sophie came out with this gem the other day when we were trying to negotiate:
“We can’t both ride on Daddy’s shoulders, Jessica! Daddy only has one head!”
The weather was cold and wet on our recent visit to Peppa Pig World. Jessica gets cold very quickly because of her special heart. It took a few layers before we eventually managed to get her warmed up quickly but at one point she was so cold that her teeth were chattering.
“Mummy,” she said, “I wish we could get something to put over my teeth as well. Maybe then they wouldn’t get so cold and start chattering!”
