From the mouths of babes is a weekly linky which invites you to share a post, old or new, about something your children have said. Those adorable mispronounced words, the glimpses into their imaginations, the blunt observations – whatever it is, I’d love to hear about it!
Thank you to everyone who linked up last week. Conversations with Hank shared a very powerful discussion with her nine-year old over the dinner table about drugs, addiction and how decriminalisation in Portugal is helping enable those with drug addiction to seek help.
Sophie was getting tired of all the rain we had a couple of weeks ago.
“I’m going to make the rain stop!” she told me.
“How are you going to do that?” I asked.
“I’m going to splash in a very big puddle, and it will make the rain go away and send it to the planets!”
If you have any posts about something that your children have been saying lately, please do come and link up. The linky opens each Monday from 6am and closes on Friday at 11pm so there is plenty of time to link up your posts (old and new posts are welcome!). Please add the badge below to your post so others know where they can also link up (the badge code is below). I will also try and share posts via Twitter – please use the hashtag #ftmob and I’ll do my best to retweet them. I also have a Pinterest board and will be sharing posts here too.
Looking forward to reading what your little ones have been saying!

Ahh kids love being in control. Jane comes up with interesting idea about how to control the weather too.
I love the way they think they can do things to control it 🙂
I think it worked! Thanks to Sophie, the rain has stopped here in Cornwall 🙂 I just love what our little ones say 🙂 #ftmob
Glad the rain stopped in Cornwall! It was funny hearing her conversation about how to make the rain go away 🙂
Ha ha I love Sophies idea of jumping in big puddle to make all the rain go away.
I wonder if it would work?
Thanks for hosting
Probably not but we’d certainly have fun trying! 🙂
