One of the things on our autumn activities list is to go for a walk in the rain and splash about in puddles. With the recent weather, this has been a very easy one to tick off the list and having bought both the girls matching waterproof all-in-ones and new wellies for Jessica, we were all prepared.
Jessica had a great time splashing about in all the puddles she could find as we made our way to the park. Unsurprisingly, the park was deserted (apart from a game of football going on nearby) and so Jessica could run about and play to her heart’s content. The slide was pretty much out of bounds though as the steps were so wet and slippery but everything else was fine.
Sophie enjoyed being able to get out of the buggy for a while and go on the swings with her big sister and Jessica just enjoyed running about and finding puddles to splash in. Simple fun at its best.

Rain/wet play is brilliant for children. They seem to love it so much. Loving the all in one rain suits too.

I can’t wait to get out The Boy’s waterproof all – in – one, he looks like my little toddler in it and is so warm. Great photos, really indicative of this season.

What a bunch of sweeties! Rhe all-in-ones are such a great idea. We have been splashing in puddles, too but ended up completely drenched a couple of times this week.

I think I need to buy those for when my son goes to school! Last Monday he is soaking when we arrive in school even if we have a waterproof pants! Looks like a fun day cuz nothing can beat jumping in water puddles =) #countrykids

Ah love waterproofs for allowing you to get out of the house even in the wet! Beware of slides though, Monkey flew off the end a couple of weeks ago, his waterproof trousers made the wet slide a bit lethal lol!! 🙂 #letkidsbekids
Waterproofs are great – we discovered the slide was probably a bit too slippery quite quickly so will be avoiding – hope Monkey didn’t hurt himself when he flew off the end.
