#365daysofgratitude – Week 20

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 134 – I am grateful for the pure joy of water play and how much fun the girls had using the tuff spot as a mini paddling pool.

Day 135 – I am grateful for snuggles in bed and reading bedtime stories together after bathtime.

Day 136 – I am grateful for an afternoon planting sunflowers in the garden. Fingers crossed we’ll have more luck than we did last year!

Turning the tuff spot into an impromptu paddling pool; Jessica and Sophie snuggling in my bed after their bath; Sophie watering sunflower seeds; Sophie and Jessica playing Lego together; Sophie building with Duplo; Jessica in her white ballet show costume; a fairy sitting on a unicorn - "#365daysofgratitude - Week 20"

Day 137 – I am grateful that my littlest lady is feeling a little better after being poorly last night. She spent most of the day lying on the sofa sleeping on and off but had perked up enough to play with the Lego for a while at teatime. She also got a lovely report at her first preschool parents’ evening tonight too.

Day 138 – I am grateful for a quiet day at home with a little girl who is back to her normal happy self again.

Day 139 – I am grateful that Jessica copes so well with her Friday night activities. I wasn’t sure how well she’d cope with both ballet and Girls’ Brigade on the same night after a busy week at school but every week she amazes me. So lovely to see how much she enjoys them both.

Day 140 – I am grateful for a magical evening at an Enchanted Museum.

  1. Oh I’m so glad Sophie is feeling better. Libby has had the awful sickness bug that’s going round since Saturday, it’s horrible to see them so poorly.
