#365daysofgratitude – Week 14

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 92 – I am grateful for a lovely day out in the sunshine at the open air museum with my family.

Day 93 – I am grateful for the pure joy of blowing dandelion clocks.

Day 94 – I am grateful for a quiet day at home just playing and doing simple crafts and painting.

Jessica and Sophie climbing on the carved wooden bench at Chiltern Open Air Museum; Sophie blowing a dandelion clock; Jessica painting a picture; white blossom on a tree; Jessica eating lunch at the church cafe; Jessica inside a den in the woods and Sophie dressing up in Edwardian clothes with a big grin on her face. Day 95 – I am grateful for blossom.

Day 96 – I am grateful for lunch at the church cafe with my two girls. It used to be our regular treat on a Thursday but as the café is usually closed in the school holidays, Jessica hasn’t been for a while.

Day 97 – I am grateful for discovering new places to explore in the local area.

Day 98 – I am grateful for a lovely family day out at the River & Rowing Museum in Henley – the highlight of which was getting to see the real Bagpuss and the Clangers. Sophie loved getting to dress up too. This might now be my favourite photo ever of her.
