#365daysofgratitude – Week 4

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 22 – I am grateful for a sunny Sunday afternoon at the park with my beautiful girls.

Day 23 – I am grateful for blood donors. Jessica has received quite a few blood transfusions during her various hospital stays – thank you to all those wonderful donors who have also helped her be here today. Today I received my 10th donation badge – not a big number considering I made my first donation 17 years ago but still something to be proud of.

Day 24 – I am grateful for sunny afternoons and a trip to the park after school.

A Sunday afternoon at the park, blood donors, a post-school trip to the park, hubby being home, warm hats and coats, crazy dancing in the kitchen and Sophie winning the Jack Adams-Richard Elloway trophy - the things I'm thankful for this week

Day 25 – I am grateful to have my hubby back home again having spent the last few days flying solo.

Day 26 – I am grateful for warm hats and coats on a cold winter day.

Day 27 – I am grateful for the crazy dancing in the kitchen this morning.

Day 28 – I am grateful for adventures. Sophie was awarded the Jack Adams-Richard Elloway trophy this evening for being the youngest person to travel from Land’s End to John O’Groats last year.

  1. Well done for all your blood donations, that’s brilliant. I’ve only done it once and I had a bad experience with a blood test after that and it totally put me off. I’m determined to do it again soon though.

    1. Thank you Nat – I can understand how a bad experience would put you off. Hope that the experience is more positive if you do it again.

    1. Thank you Jenni. It was lovely to revisit our adventure over the weekend and I was so proud of Sophie getting the trophy 🙂
