#365daysofgratitude – Week 49

#365daysofgratitude is my challenge for 2017 to share one photo a day on Instagram of something I am grateful for. I took part in a similar challenge last year and loved it so am looking forward to continuing with it this year. Here are the things that I’ve been grateful for over the past week:

Day 337 – I am grateful for a lovely afternoon at Chiltern Open Air Museum doing some Christmas crafts with the girls.

Day 338 – I am grateful for this little wooden Christmas tree that was given to Jessica for her first Christmas. It was first put up next to her bed in PICU when she was recovering from her second open-heart surgery at 14 weeks old and has been a treasured Christmas decoration ever since. Was so lovely to watch my girls working together to decorate it today.

Day 339 – I am grateful to have the Christmas tree up – looking forward to the girls’ faces when they see it in the morning.

Day 340 – I am grateful for a brief visit from Father Christmas.

Day 341 – I am grateful for my new bath tidy for the girls’ bath toys. So much neater than the mesh bag we used to have.

Day 342 – I am grateful for getting to see all the pretty Christmas trees at our local church with Jessica and her class.

Day 343 – I am grateful that my girls had so much fun this afternoon at their friend’s birthday party.
